A veteran of the financial services industry, Michael Valley brings over 40 years of experience to Eastwind Capital. As the founder of the firm, he dedicates his expertise to helping clients achieve their true financial potential through customized wealth management strategies and personalized guidance.
At the heart of Michael’s practice is his role as a fiduciary. As a fiduciary, he is legally and ethically obligated to act in his clients’ best interests, ensuring their needs always come first. Guided by the belief that character is doing the right thing when no one is looking, Michael combines trust, integrity, and accessibility to deliver the personalized attention every investor deserves. By empowering clients with the tools and support necessary for lifelong financial success, he ensures they feel confident and informed every step of the way.
A lifelong entrepreneur, Michael started his first business, Valley Brothers Egg Company, in 1972. Building on this early success, he went on to lead multiple financial service companies before establishing Eastwind Capital in 1991. He holds a FINRA Series 65 license, along with health, life, and annuity licenses, and is a Certified Estate Planning Professional (CEPP).
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael is passionate about giving back to his community. He actively leads initiatives to provide housing for homeless individuals in Columbus and volunteers with organizations like the Columbus Dream Center.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys exercising, boating, and deep-sea fishing with his wife, Sharon. Together, they attend Rock City Church, where their shared faith inspires them to live with purpose and integrity.
